2023 My Favourite Painting winner – Kevin Mortimer

What an amazing year – we had over 400 votes in our My favourite painting, with the winning artist receiving a framing voucher from The Hayrack Gallery (www.hayrackgalleryonline.co.uk).

This year, for the first time ever, we had two paintings tied for first place.  Amazingly, they were by the same artists, Kevin Mortimer!

The two paintings were The Listening Time (picture 107) and The Lone Sentinel (picture 112).

The standard was very high with a wide range of subjects and media.  This was reflected in every artist receiving votes or at least one of their paintings.
