Gascoigne Eileen

My degree in Fine Art led me to a career in teaching, and I became Head of Art and Lecturer in Art and Design in schools and colleges in Northamptonshire. On retirement I became a full time artist, my specialism being watercolour; this unpredictable and magical medium continues to inspire me. My choice of subject matter is varied-landscape, still life and especially seascapes. I have exhibited and sold paintings and prints locally, in the Cotswolds and Birmingham, but also with some success in Europe and the US. Having recently become a grandmother, I have created the ‘Bobby Bear’ series.
