Allard Lois
Early childhood years spent living under St Boniface Down, Isle of Wight, set up a close bond with the countryside, nature and of being outdoors. Graduating in Landscape Architecture followed and an all embracing profession of art, design, the environment, ecology, botany and so much more.
A fascination developed for abstraction in art and nature – of order, rhythm and pattern, form, scale, light and colour, all influencing my art and design to this day.
Whilst working, I also published my story and illustrations: Casper and the Secret Kingdom (1986) in the UK and USA.
As I retire, a second book is in the planning, together with enjoying exploring artwork through linocuts and watercolour … worlds of design, colour and natural beauty with some escapism along the way.
