Art and craft played a big part in my life from a very early age. My love of painting grew and my sole ambition was to go to art college. However, after staying on at school and achieving all the necessary qualifications my parents decided art was not a suitable career so art was put on the back burner. It wasn’t until after I retired  that I started to paint again in 2010.

My favourite media are pen and wash, mixed media, pastel and acrylics. I particularly enjoy doing pet portraits in pastel,  and pen and wash collages of towns/villages/ life histories, and have undertaken many commissions.
