Keay Shirley

Since childhood I’ve enjoyed all art & crafts and retiring from paid employment in 2022 has given me the opportunity to spend even more time making, sketching & painting, sometimes in watercolour but more usually acrylics on canvas. My focus is always on colour & pattern, & my current style reflects my passion for vibrant hues, bold shapes & a rich diversity of surface decoration.

I exhibit and sell my work locally whenever I can, most recently at the Yardley Arts 2026 Open, where I was privileged to have two pieces selected for inclusion. This is my first time exhibiting at Alderton, which was recommended to me by a fellow artist, & I am very much looking forward to it!
