I have enjoyed art from an early age with art material always at hand.

I am self taught and enjoy watercolours, coloured pencils, pastels and Chinese brush painting.

Over the past year I have done several animal drawings using coloured pencils. I love the texture that I can get with a sharp pencil. I still think I love drawing both large cats and domestic ones too. I have also had dog portrait commissions too. Watercolours are of places, landscapes and botanical. I was introduced to Chinese brush painting by a friend and picked up materials whilst travelling to the far east on a couple of holidays it is different to western art but enjoyable and relaxing.

I belong to Towcester Art Society, Northamptonshire Botanical Art Society and the Chinese Brush Painting Society
